It may also be used for size reduction in industries for corundum, corundite, ferro-silicon, glass, refractory, silicon carbide, tungsten carbide and zeolite. It has a high-throughput capacity ideal for beneficiation (elimination of soft material). Our Computer simulated configured VSI accepts highly abrasive materials with very slow wear rate. It has simple operation and maintenance. The Gulmohar VSI typically has low operating costs even in high-moisture applications because of reduced energy costs and low wear cost per ton. Our machines accept feeds from 6- 40 mm depending on the model selected. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) mathematical modeling is utilized to simulate the flow and collision forces to design the shape of the tips and anvil for lowest wear cost, consistent final product, and higher energy efficiency.
Presence of other impurities like shells, mica bones, wood/ coal remains and mid etc. makes natural sand inferior for the use in cement concrete. The decay of these materials, due to weathering effect, shortens the life and strength of the concrete work. With the Government ban on dredging sand from river beds, natural and acceptable sand is in acute shortage for construction activities. The long term substitute for river sand is sand that is manufactured to the required specifications.

Our sand making machines offer the best solution with a good quality output. The manufactured sand has cubical particles or spherical particles which can be generated with our machine process. With our process of cleavage breaking of the stone particle, the surface becomes more smooth as against undesired cubical or angular shapes with or rough textures causing honeycombing problems in the concrete.. This makes fine unsuitable for concrete construction work. Such issues are avoided with sand manufactured with our machines.
